The first step is to master the correct way of revolving your hands through the swing. Yes, a correct swing includes hand rotation. This shouldn't be confused with wrist breaking where you flip your trailing wrist as if you were casting a fishing rod.

The move starts in the backswing where the front hand holding the club is in accordance with your target line. As you swing through the ball, notice that your forearm starts to turn towards the ball and then your hands, and wrists, make the same natural movement. However, you should avoid twisting your wrist before contact with the ball is made. Next we consider knee stability in the backswing. As you enter your backswing, your forward knee tends to go naturally inward. This stray knee movement need to be evaded. One exercise you can do pretty simply is to hold a basketball between your knees throughout your swing. The basketball will stop your front knee from collapsing inward. No basketball? No worries. Though harder, simply imagine a basketball between your knees and the results should be the similar.

One of the strategies that may bewilder a new golfer is the proper way to hold a club. In order to improve your golf swing through hand positioning, hold the club with both hands looking like you are reaching out for a handshake. The handshake way of holding the club improve your golf swing and permits more force to flow naturally from the body to the club you're using.
