A Closer Look at the Biomechanics of a Golf Swing

There have been dozens of books written lately about the biomechanics of a golf swing. The bio...what? Man, that's a really technical term. Many of these books break down the golf swing into agonizing details. Trying to read one of these books can put you to sleep fast. Not only that, they are hard to understand as well.

The fact that you are reading this tells me that there is a problem with your swing that you are looking to correct. Figuring out the problem within your swing mechanics is not always an easy thing to do. There could be several problem areas depending on whether you slice the ball, have a hook, or top the ball. All of these things can add a lot of strokes to your golf game. Luckily, I am here to help you with this.

The Problem With Most Biomechanic Golf Swing Books

Most of the golf books on the market today have one MAJOR flaw. They take a golf pro, such as Tiger Woods, and analyze his golf swing step by step. Ok, I know what you are thinking..... What is wrong with breaking down Tiger's swing? Don't I think that Tiger Woods has a good golf swing?

The problem with studying Tiger's golf swing is that no matter how much you and I study it, we will NEVER be able to swing the club like Tiger. That's probably not what you want to hear, but it is true. Just read Tiger's book "How I Play Golf and you will quickly notice that he focuses on proper course management and trouble shots rather than the mechanics of his swing. Tiger does this because he knows that breaking down his perfect swing step by step will not improve the golf game of the average golfer. The average golfer, like you and me, cannot copy it.

The Biomechanics of a Golf Swing:

Alright then, so we agree that no matter how hard we practice we will never have a golf swing like Tiger. What do we do now? Do we have to struggle everytime we play golf slicing, hooking and topping the ball? No way!! There is some hope. Instead of making it really complex and difficult to understand, the biomechanics of a golf swing should be SIMPLE and easy to perform. You just need to have common positions within your golf swing that are CONSISTENT every time. This will help you achieve the straight shots and distance that you have been longing for.

You need to develop a simple golf swing. A swing that can be easily repeated, time after time without any thought or conscious effort. Try not to over-complicate the golf swing. The only areas we should be concerned about are the setup, backswing, and impact. Anything more is just making it harder than it needs to be and makes it more difficult to develop consistent muscle memory.

The Simple Golf Swing breaks this process down into 5 steps to focus on. Each step is a building block onto the next. The system is easy to learn and it will have you hitting the ball straighter and farther than you ever have. I know, because I have used it myself and gotten great results.
