Las Vegas has a lot of entertainment to offer including gambling, Broadway shows, and golf. If you are considering golfing while in Las Vegas it might be beneficial to have an idea as to what the best golf courses are. So, all though there are a lot of very good courses, some stand out among the others.

The Badlands Golf Club Desperado/Diablo is a popular course for those who like to test their skill and face a tough challenge. These courses were all masterminded by Johnny Miller and reveal great scenery with the Red Rock Canyon in the distance. The price of playing on one of these courses starts at one hundred eighty dollar.

The wonderful thing about Las Vegas is the fact that there are always packages and discounts. A good golf vacation package can usually be found on websites. Currently rates average from about five hundred to eight hundred dollars and ordinarily include a couple days of golfing on the greatest courses along with some nights in hotels.

If you really want the best of the best when it comes to golf courses, consider a golf course that was designed by Arnold Palmer. Palmer created the course called Arroyo Club at Red Rocks which usually costs about one hundred ninety dollars for a round of golf. This is a public golf course with private like amenities and landscaping.

If you want to play in one of the most reasonably priced golf courses in Las Vegas, the Black Mountain Golf and Country Club has rates that start at $119. The course just underwent a $2 million renovation, so the courses look and play well. The course is in the midst of the Mojave Desert.

Another course to consider for your golf vacation in Las Vegas is the Falls Golf Club at Las Vegas Resort. This course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and is actually the newest addition to the resort. Itas got the expected beautiful scenery and contrasting terrain of desert floor and rolling mountains.

Probably the most prestigious course is the Bali Hai on the Las Vegas Strip. This is a huge course covering over seven acres and contains a bunch of exotic plants, trees, and water obstacles. This course will surely satisfy you with great playing and great views of Las Vegas.

Another course designed by a golfing legend is the Reflection Bay Golf Club at Las Vegas Resort, designed by Jack Nicklaus. The course is the home of the Wendyas Three-Tour Challenge, which benefits the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. The course has challenging bunkers, perfect greens, and three waterfalls.
