If you are left handed, you likely think of it as a disguised blessing or a terrible curse. Sometimes being a southpaw can seem like a real bother, from having to use specially designed school desks to using left handed golf clubs. However, it seems like more and more people are being born left handed lately, just take a look in the sports arena. In baseball you will see a lot more lefties swinging those bats than in years gone by.

The basic technique for playing golf is relatively the same whether you are left or right handed. Your grip should be neither too loose nor too tight. You stance should be square, and your feet parallel to the target line. Square the shoulders as well as the hips and the thighs parallel to the feet and the target line. If you want to slice the ball, the swing path should be from the inside to the outside. To hook the ball then the swing path should be from the outside to the inside. And don't forget to make sure you have access to a decent set of left handed golf clubs.
