Vegas Golfing Prospects Look Hot

With over 300 days of sun each year, Las Vegas, NV is one of the most sought out golfing destinations in the world. With temperatures ranging from 58 degrees to 100 degrees, it makes for a perfect day to golf each time you visit Las Vegas. The decision comes down to choosing from over 100 golf courses in the Las Vegas area, each with their own beautiful design and price range to meet every golfers need.

For $120 to $295, a golfer can play at the Reflections Bay golf club, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course rated in the "Top 100 Best Courses You Can Play" by Golf Digest. Since 1998, this 7,261-yard course has amazed players with its scenery, centered around a 320-acre lake.

Additionally, ranging from $250 and up you have the Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt designed Bali Hai Golf Club. Opening in 2000, the course is known for its luxurious looks and stunning golf course design. Playing at 7,002 yards from the championship tees, this par-71 course is widely refered to as "lush" by most golfers.

The slightly less indulgent, and slightly more conservative golfer may find the Jay Morris-designed Painted Desert Golf Club more to their liking. Green fees range from $69 to $149, and one of the first courses to open in Las Vegas. Itsmodest 6,781 yards allow most any golfer to enjoy this playable desert course.

The Desert Pines Golf Club features 6,810 graceful yards of golf course, complete with water hazards and pine trees to shade the way. Born from the collective minds at Dye Designs International, fees for this quality course typically range from $35 to $160.

Green fees range from $55 to $95 at the USGA Links-qualified Black Mountain Golf and Country Club, designed by Bob Baldock and Gill and Associates. Its 6,550, tree-lined fairways feature 27 holes and a wide range of difficulties, with Bermuda rough and old-fashioned greens making up for its smaller size.

Lastly, considered by some the best golf course is Las Vegas you have the Angel Park Golf Club. Self-proclaimed the world's most complete golf experience, this Arnold Palmer designed golf course offers 36 holes of championship golf, a lighted nine holes, and a natural grass putting course. Opening in 1989, this Arnold Palmer designed course has green fees ranging from $65 to $160 for a full round of golf.

Each of these courses would prove rewarding for a golfer in its own way, and with a myriad to choose from, the choice can be daunting. With stable weather, and astounding golf courses, any golfer can find paradise in Las Vegas, poor or rich, skilled or just starting out. Everyone can enjoy the best golf destinations in Las Vegas.
